Emoji with closed eyes and tears streaming down its cheeks
Description
The TikTok [laugh] emoji is a cartoon face with tightly closed eyes, a huge open-mouth grin, and dramatic tears streaming down both cheeks, giving off full belly-laugh energy. It is similar to [laughwithtears] but has slightly different proportions that make it feel more pure-laughter and less crying-laughing. It reads as genuinely cracking up, not just smiling politely. On TikTok, it is the default reaction for anything actually funny, from standup clips to meme compilations to chaotic fail videos. Its intensity makes it best saved for moments that genuinely made you laugh out loud, so it doesn't lose its impact under lighter content where [smile] or [happy] would fit better.
Usage
Drop [laugh] when a video actually cracks you up and you want to show real belly-laugh energy. It fits standup clips, fail videos, and meme compilations. Try things like "I have rewatched this ten times [laugh]" or "this should be illegal [laugh] [laugh]". Creators use it in captions like "I can't stop laughing at my own joke [laugh]". Pair it with [laughwithtears] for overload comedy or with [happy] for pure good vibes. Skip it on cute or emotional content, since stacking loud laugh reactions under gentle posts can feel like you are making fun of something that wasn't meant to be a joke.
